The B.O.L.T. is the collaboration of original songs by "The Other Deepak" and John Twiford, combining various genres of music and influences into a new sound - Dream Rock. The music is ever evolving and The B.O.L.T. is always recording and experimenting with new ideas and styles of music.
Bourne from the Belly of The Whale, the B.O.L.T. is on a voyage throughout the universe seeking to share the powerful vibration of sound. The violin and piano melodies are rich and tasty, and the hooks will never be forgotten. It is music that will make you move AND make you think...
The B.O.L.T. has done what bands strive to do - define their OWN sound.
Their brand of music, which they call “Dream Rock,” is the soundtrack for a revolution—a revolution of the mind, a revolution of the soul, and a revolution of the world as we know it. This is the time, and the Dream Rock Revolution can help power the change.
The B.O.L.T. was honored to have their song, “This is the Time” chosen as the first track on the Can of Jam Compilation Vol. 1 CD, released in 2006.
Most recently, and only a few weeks after being added to mp3.com.au, “This is The Time” was tracked at #1 on mp3.com Australia in numerous categories, as well as overall on the entire page.
Accomplished as an acoustic duo or with a full rhythm section, organs, and lead guitar, The B.O.L.T.’s talent and energy shine through in the live experience. They have been sought after by promoters to play all over L.A., in northern California and around Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
They toured the east coast from February through June of 2008, playing all over Florida, D.C., MD and New York. They recently headlined the Knitting Factory in Hollywood for an industry showcase.
